Tuxedo Tennis Club was host to an enthusiastic group of youngsters on Saturday August 22, 2020. The eleven boys and girls, ranging in age from 9 to 14, are from the Winnipeg Newcomer Sport Academy. Under the direction of Nelly, our staff pro, with assistance from her capable helpers Benjamin and Lennox, the youngsters were guided through a range of fun and energizing games and drills designed to introduce them to the sport of tennis. Throughout the event, COVID-19 protocols were maintained and monitored by staff, and the ice cream treats served up by Board Member Jack at the end of the activities was a perfect ending to a wonderful day. From the squeals and smiles of delight on court that day, it was clear that a great time was had by all in attendance.
