Club changes in effect Monday, June 28 to Sunday, August 1, 2021
COURTS 3, 4, 5, & 6
- Crack repair and painting of courts is finished.
- Courts will be open for play on Monday, June 28 to give them time to dry completely.
- Thank you for your patience as we went a whole week without these 4 courts available.
- Reminder: all members please put on your court shoes on arrival at the club to prevent damage to court surfaces.
DOUBLES DROP-IN PROGRAMS
- With changes in the COVID precautions allowing more people on the courts, drop in programs will no longer require pre-registration on Hold My Court.
- Mixed Doubles
- Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30 pm
- Saturday and Wednesday Mornings 8:30-11:00 pm
- 4 dedicated courts (courts 3-6)
- extra players will be rotated in after each game with servers rotating out and players moving around the court in a clockwise manner.
- Men’s Doubles
- Monday and Friday mornings 8:30-11:00 pm
- 4 dedicated courts (courts 3-6)
- extra players will be rotated in after each game with servers rotating out and players moving around the court in a clockwise manner.
- Women’s Doubles
- Tuesday and Thursday mornings 8:30-11:00 pm
- 6 dedicated courts

COVID PRECAUTIONS
- One set of tennis balls is now allowed for play.
- Prescreening for COVID is still required for every attendance at TTC (either by completion of online form or signing in on arrival).
- Wearing of masks inside the clubhouse is required.
- Maximum of 4 people at a time are allowed in the clubhouse.
- Maintain 1 metre distance from everyone not from your household at all times.
- Regular sanitization of hands.
- No guests are allowed.
COURT AVAILABILITY
- Our goal is to give all members equal access to the courts.
- Restrictions on prime time court bookings still apply (4:30-9:00 pm Monday to Friday 1 1/2 hours for doubles and 1 hour for singles; booking permitted every other day).
- Should there be court time available on the current day, you can call the clubhouse and ask staff to book you so that there will be no penalty.
- If you are not able to use your booking on Hold My Court, please cancel as soon as possible to free up the court for someone else.
- Court bookings during non prime time for doubles play is 2 hours and for singles play is 1 hour (exception is ladder play). If there are no bookings after yours, play can be extended if the court is not booked but staff approval for this is required.
- The club is closed at 10:00 pm when the staff shifts end (8:00 pm on Sundays)
TEAM TENNIS, TUESDAY CLINICS, LIQUOR SERVICE
- For now, Team Tennis will not be happening on Wednesday evenings.
- Tuesday night clinics with club pro, Nelly Dvornicka, will resume once we finish with the FAST programs. That time slot is needed for “make up” FAST sessions after the cancellations this month.
- For now, there will be no liquor service.
